Woolloomooloo Car Park Repairs to Sewer, Storm Water Pits & Connections

The Comprehensive Maintenance Subcontractor (Brookfield Multiplex Services - BMS) for Defence Support Northern New South Wales Sydney Central is undertaking planned repair works to the sewer services and replacement of the main external in ground stormwater service pipework to the Woolloomooloo Car Park facility, the works starting on Monday 30th July 12. The replacement works involve the removal of approximately 65 existing trees along the Northern boundary of Commonwealth Property. The existing concrete pipework will be excavated and replaced. All associated stormwater pit covers will be replaced. All trees that are removed will be replaced with 25L native species. The repair works to the sewer service involve the cleaning of the existing pipework by high pressure water blasting equipment. The repair works to the internal stormwater pipework involve the cleaning of the existing pipework by high pressure water blasting equipment. The cleaning works involve the removal and disposal of built up vegetation and debris from within the car park.
